Professional
Bob Johnson has dedicated his professional life to helping high-net-worth families manage their wealth.
As a seasoned Private Wealth Advisor, he brings more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry to the Johnson & Brannen Advisory Group.
A graduate of Mercer University, Bob began his career in 1973 and started his practice with Northwestern Mutual in 1990. His in-depth knowledge of wealth management and estate planning matters continues to make Bob a trusted source to solve the complex planning challenges that high-net-worth families face.
Bob is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®), and Charted Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations.
Personal
Bob has been married to his wife, Shelia, since 1980. They have two sons, Alex and Zack, and five grandchildren.
Bob enjoys traveling, spending time with his grandchildren, and listening to music when he is not working.
Bob is passionate about serving his community in Macon through his involvement in several local non-profits. Over the years, he has served as a board member for the Medical Center of Central Georgia and First Presbyterian Day School, among others.
His work as chairman of The Big House Foundation was instrumental in founding Allman Brothers Band Museum in Macon, Georgia.

Zack Johnson specializes in working with high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, fund partners, and executives in private equity helping them create integrated wealth planning strategies.
He earned a degree in Economics from the University of Georgia before starting his financial planning career in 2008.
Zack founded Johnson & Brannen in 2013 with Nick Brannen. They joined with Zack’s father, Bob Johnson, to form Johnson & Brannen Advisory Group in 2018.
Zack is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Charted Life Underwriter (CLU®), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designations.
Personal
Zack and his wife, Lauren Anne, were married in 2009. They lived in Athens, GA for 18 years prior to relocating to New York City this year. They have three young children, Bear, Lane, and Bruce, along with Traveller, their family dog.
Zack is an avid music fan, and when he’s not listening to the Allman Brothers Band or Grateful Dead, he enjoys running, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.

Nick started his practice in August of 2008 after making a transition from the wealth management division of Wachovia Bank.
In 2013, he founded Johnson & Brannen with Zack Johnson. They joined forces with Zack’s father, Bob Johnson, to launch Johnson & Brannen Advisory Group in 2018.
Nick specializes in working with high-net-worth families, closely-held business owners, and private equity partners to help them establish integrated financial plans. Nick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®) and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designations.
Personal
Nick and his wife Christina have been married since 2004 and have four children, Will, Molly Jane, Henry, and Annie. He and Christina cherish raising their family in Athens and consider it a privilege to call that city their home.
When he’s not spending time with his family or serving clients, Nick is an aviation fanatic and enjoys spending time at the airport pursuing his passion.
The Brannens are members of the Redeemer Presbyterian Church. They also serve the community by supporting organizations such as Downtown Ministries and Westminster Christian Academy.

Professional
Mindi Biscoglia specializes in client onboarding and relations, including establishing and maintaining accounts, managing insurance underwriting, and handling client service requests. She has an extensive background in customer service, finance, and staffing.
She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995 with a BA in Psychology and is currently licensed in Life and Health insurance.
Mindi moved to the Chicago suburbs in 2014, where she works remotely to provide Johnson & Brannen clients a high-quality experience.
Personal
Mindi has been married for 21 years to her husband, Benjie. They met at the University of Georgia and lived in Athens for 23 years before moving to the Midwest to allow Benjie to pursue a career opportunity.
They have children, Joey and Alex, and an adorable, spoiled bunny name Winnie.
In her free time, Mindi likes to read, travel, listen to music, and spend time with her family.

Professional
As Director of Investment Operations, Susan Butler handles account openings, transfers, contributions, and distributions regarding investment and retirement accounts.
She is also responsible for insurance application processes as well as ongoing client services needs regarding insurance coverage.
Susan brings 22 years of experience to our team and holds Georgia state insurance licenses in Life, Health, Long-Term Care, and Variable products. Susan also holds her Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses.
Personal
Susan enjoys bible study and discussions, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and reading mystery novels, especially on a cruise ship.

Professional
Emily recently joined Johnson & Brannen Advisory Group and is applying her organizational and administrative skills to facilitate administrative and workflow duties in the firm’s Athens office.
Previously, she served as the Events Manager for the Office of Undergraduate Education in the Emory College of Arts and Sciences, where she oversaw College Commencement and worked as part of a team on large events and projects including Scholarship Recruitment, and Orientation. Before that, Emily was the Event Coordinator for the Office of the Chancellor at Appalachian State University.
She graduated with her Master's degree in Public Administration from Appalachian State University in 2014. Emily also earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 2012.
Personal
Emily married her husband Alan, in 2018. They live in Athens and are members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church. She is also a volunteer with Downtown Ministries.
In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking and spending time in the mountains.

Professional:
David joined the Johnson & Brannen Advisory Group team as an intern in the Summer of 2021 with an emphasis on business development.
He is a student of the University of Georgia and is majoring in both Management Information Systems and Real Estate. He plans to graduate in the Spring of 2023.
David is originally from Roswell, Georgia but is surrounded by good friends and has thus found a home here in Athens where he loves going to school and working for J&B.
Personal:
David is the youngest of four children and has been the “funcle” since age 15.
In his free time he loves teaching tennis, playing golf with his friends, and losing his voice cheering on the Dawgs.

Professional
Ted specializes in constructing and managing investment portfolios and integrating them into a client’s financial plan.
Previously, he worked at Steward Partners Global Advisory where he helped manage client portfolios for high-net-worth individuals in the Washington, DC area.
He earned a degree in Economics from the University of Georgia before starting his investment management career. He also earned a masters degree in international trade and investment from George Washington University.
Personal
Ted is married to his high school sweetheart, Laura. They have two sons, Fiver and Conrad, and live in Chattanooga. In his spare time, Ted enjoys hiking and gardening with his family. You can also find him playing various bluegrass instruments.

Professional
Michael recently joined Johnson & Brannen Advisory Group and is located in the firm’s Macon office. He specializes in case preparation involving financial plans and insurance illustrations.
Previously, he started his career in the marketing field, working at a variety of different companies and organizations including Mercer University (Macon, GA), Thomas & Hutton Engineering Company (Savannah, GA), and Vein Specialists of the South (Macon, GA).
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Georgia College & State University in 2016, and is currently licensed in Life, Accident, and Health insurance.
Personal
Michael and his wife Sally Anne married in 2018 and have a one-year-old son Carter. They live in Macon and are members at First Presbyterian Church Macon. In his free time, Michael enjoys playing music and spending time with his family.
